 I am Florian Canal, Head of Finance in LEO Pharma France, and I have been with the company for 8 years. Working with LEO Pharma has been an exciting and rewarding experience throughout the years, and I’m happy to share a bit more about my journey.  

What originally attracted me to LEO Pharma was the implementation of SAP in 2015. As the first affiliate to undergo this major change, I knew that it would bring about new ways of doing finance, and I was eager to be a part of this transformation. Since then, I’ve been able to witness and contribute to the company’s growth and development. 

Working at LEO Pharma is challenging, but it’s also very fulfilling. One of the things I appreciate the most is the opportunity to broaden your knowledge and learn new things regardless of your position. Finance is an essential component of any business, and I’m proud to be at the crossroads of many different aspects of the company. 

In my day-to-day work, I try to bring the LEO Pharma behaviors of prioritization and simplification into everything I do. I believe that being a bit provocative from time to time can be beneficial in pushing the boundaries and finding new ways of doing things. 

One of the things that excites me the most about my job is the opportunity to contribute to LEO Pharma’s purpose of advancing the standard of care for people with skin conditions, their families, and society. By using our financial resources wisely, we can help patients get the treatment they need and invest in future solutions to address unmet needs in the field.
