Ballerup, Denmark, March 20, 2018 – LEO Pharma today announced that it appointed Rhonda Duffy Senior Vice President, Global Product Supply. From April 16, 2018, she will be responsible for the global supply chain of LEO Pharma, a global healthcare company dedicated to helping people achieve healthy skin.
“Rhonda Duffy has extensive experience in pharmaceutical supply chain management, and she knows LEO Pharma really well,” said Gitte P. Aabo, President & CEO of LEO Pharma. “We are serving more than 80 million patients worldwide, are launching several products, and have an ambitious pipeline. An efficient global supply chain is critical to our success. Rhonda Duffy is the right person to continue to optimise our operations and make it fit for the future.”
Duffy joined LEO Pharma in 1993 and was responsible for key parts of Global Product Supply. In her latest role, she has been Vice President, Dermatology Value Stream, being responsible for production sites in Denmark, Ireland and Australia. She successfully turned around and repositioned production plants which became substantially more efficient under her leadership. Duffy earned her PhD in Pharmacognosy from the School of Pharmacy, Trinity College, Dublin. Rhonda Duffy follows Jim McPherson, who has successfully headed LEO Pharma’s Global Product Supply for the past three years.
