New Executive Vice President at LEO Pharma

On 1 March 2012,  Anders B. Spohr takes over the position as Executive Vice President for Global Product Supply at LEO Pharma

In December 2011, Anders B. Spohr was appointed Senior Vice President of LEO Pharma. Now he will assume the position as Executive Vice President for Global Product Supply, LEO Pharma's global production.

From his previous career with Novo Nordisk and Novozymes, Anders B. Spohr has gained extensive experience in managing and governing global production. As Executive Vice President of Global Product Supply, it will be his task to ensure flexible, efficient and streamlined production processes to support LEO Pharma's operations in more than 100 countries worldwide.

Anders B. Spohr has a MSc in Chemical Engineering, a Ph.D. in Biotechnology and a Graduate Diploma in Business Administration. He worked for Novo Nordisk from 1997 to 2000, when he started working for Novozymes, which at that point separated from Novo Nordisk to become a company in its own right. During his 11 years at Novozymes, Anders B. Spohr was stationed for a period at the company's offices in Franklinton, North Carolina, USA. His latest position in Novozymes, before joining LEO Pharma, was Vice President of Supply Chain Management. 

Anders B. Spohr takes over the position as Executive Vice President from John Mehlbye, who is retiring. John Mehlbye will be on the board of LEO Foundation in the future.
